This Summer Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann Celebrates the City of Light

From 6 July to 31 August, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann will celebrate the City of Light by showcasing Fashion, Design, Art and Gastronomy. The special event “Paris Mon Amour” is a huge shout-out to all lovers of the capital who have come to discover the streets, sidewalk cafés and iconic venues that make Paris such an enchanted city. For the occasion, the Parisian department store features the emblematic actors of the capital.

Unique guests are in the spotlight. Disneyland® Paris offers an immersion in the magical world of the theme park with in-store animations. Ami Paris invests the majestic Dome of the store with its symbolic suspended heart. The Maison Francis Kurkdjian introduces its famous eaux de Cologne.

Moreover, special experiences will take place in-store: the Moulin Rouge will offer a preview of the shows that have made its legend on the glasswalk with a glamorous medley, the CRU restaurant transformed into a Parisian guinguette will offer exceptional wines during a Happy Hour imagined by La Cave.

Customers will also be able to discover a selection of products and brands labeled Made in Paris. At the Gourmet store, the great names of French gastronomy reveal and share secrets of their expertise. This is also an opportunity to participate in the workshops offered in store: making French macarons or doing a cooking class alongside a renowned chef from the prestigious school Ferrandi Paris, for unforgettable memories.

From 6 July to 18 July, a contest is organised offering experiences to discover the capital’s must-see tourist spots: the Eiffel Tower, Château de Versailles, Bateaux Parisiens, a visit with Big Bus, a fly over the capital with Helipass and a ride in a 2CV (Deux Chevaux) with 4 Roues Sous Un Parapluie.

On Boulevard Haussmann, the shop windows decorated by French photographer Thibaut Grevet portray the vibrancy so typical of the city streets and its emblematic sites. Once through the department store doors, the visit is a series of memorable experiences.

Visitors can take a break at any time and come enjoy the panorama over the roofs of Opéra Garnier and the domes of Sacré-Coeur, or admire the view of the Eiffel Tower.

This special event is organised in partnership with Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, Paris Region Tourist Board, and Atout France.
