July 2011 Events in Paris Highlights Soldes d’Eté (Summer Sales) Through July 26th The famous summer sales in France continue! Paris Plages 21 If you can’t go to the beach the City of Light will bring the beach to you!  The  banks of the Seine transform into the Riveria overnight! Final Day of the Tour de France 24 An awesome day to be in Paris!  The peloton rolls into Paris for the final day of the Tour de France and the winner is crowned.  See you on the Champs-Elysées! Musée Bourdelle Madame Grés, extended to Aug. 24th (click to read NEW BonjourParis review) Bastille Day – La Fête Nationale 14 Held on the anniversary of the storming of Bastille in 1789.  There will be a morning parade on the Champs-Elysées, a fantastic military display at Les Invalides, as well as fireworks near the Eiffel Tower.  A brilliant day to be in France!
