Green Spring
I have been working all week on an exciting new cookbook about fish, every kind of sea creature. In addition, it has been a beautiful week with great weather, longer days, and a definite feeling of SPRING in the air. Here is a perfectly monotone plate of food, all green, and yet for me it is the essence of springtime with its brilliant green hues. I love the variation of tones within this very limited color palette. Enjoy a plate of asparagus and welcome the coming bountiful season of fresh ingredients at their prime.
