BP take: A long-time favorite, Itinéraires went decidedly upscale in fall 2011. Owners Sarah and Sylvain Sendra reduced the number of tables and debuted a tasting menu. Needless to say, Itinéraires won a Michelin star. Fresh seasonal products continue to be the focus here; all vegetables are certified organic, many sourced from rock-star maraîcher Yamashita Asafumi, and other ingredients come from some of the finest purveyors in France (think Bordier butter, Oteïza for Basque-style charcuterie). The location is also fabulous: just a stone’s throw from the Seine on the Left Bank, not far from the pont de l’Archevêché.
