As a Paris born and bred living in far away Australia, I am grieving at the events that have taken place by a bunch of lunatic assassins who have lost their way. I love visiting my beloved city and I know its people, my fellow Parisians will keep up the spirit of solidarity, friendship, liberty and equality even in the face of catastrophe, just as we did during World War Two when I was growing up there. I thank Sydney for the magnificent display of France's three colours on the Sydney Opera House. They look fantastic!
