Cashmere and Caviar: Gigi Hadid Teams up with Caviar Kaspia

Gigi Hadid needs no introduction. The American supermodel of Dutch and Palestinian descent is also a TV personality, designer, and social media influencer with a huge Instagram following. Born in 1995 and raised in Los Angeles, Gigi signed to IMG Models, and has had a successful modeling career, walking for top designers like Tom Ford, Chanel, and Versace.

She has dabbled in acting and TV, appearing as a guest judge on the reality show Project Runway and hosting on NBC’s The Voice. Gigi’s known and loved for her philanthropic work, including the Global Lyme Alliance and UNICEF. And now check out her latest success:

On September 5th in New York City, Caviar Kaspia announced its first partnership with Guest In Residence, the exclusive knitwear brand founded by Gigi Hadid in 2022.

Here’s the scoop on the partnership. The limited-edition, 100% cashmere sweaters are decorated with the a branded graphic inspired by Kaspia’s iconic caviar tins and mosaics. It’s available in two colors, the first a nod to Caviar Kaspia’s signature emerald hue, the second a rich cream color.

As quoted in the official press release, Hadid said, “I’ve been dining at Caviar Kaspia for years and have so many special memories there. It’s an honor to partner with such a historic institution that shares our values and commitment to timeless elegance, high-quality craftsmanship, and community.”

CEO Ramon Mac-Crohon noted, “It’s been a pleasure watching Gigi grow as both a person and a business owner over the years. Caviar Kaspia’s dining rooms will always be a home away from home for creatives like Gigi and we’re excited to partner with her on beautiful sweaters that reflect our lifestyle so well.”

Not only does Caviar Kaspia have a history of hosting famous creatives at its La Madeleine flagship, but it’s also known for its collaborations and capsule collections with renowned designers. To name a few: Virgil Abloh of Off-White, Giambattista Valli, Casablanca, Begüm Khan, Carine Roitfeld, and Jacquemus. Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence cashmere brand now joins the ranks.

Priced at $750, the sweaters are available for online orders at Caviar Kaspia’s website, alongside retail locations at Caviar Kaspia’s addresses in Paris, New York, São Paulo, Dubai, Los Angeles, London and Bodrum.

Caviar Kaspia is frequented by a clientele of regulars as well as fashion personalities and creators from all walks of life. “Where Caviar Kaspia Goes, Fashion Follows,” proclaimed The New York Times in a recent article dedicated to Kaspia. Interior designers such as Jacques Grange and Alexis Mabille infuse their style into the brand’s latest restaurant projects.

“Guest In Residence” is the American knitwear brand founded in New York City in September 2022 by Gigi Hadid. Her travels during her modeling career inspired the brand’s name and mission. “Reflecting on years of travel, away from home, I was a guest in residence,” she explained. She also found inspiration from her parents’ second-hand cashmere sweaters, which she has described as “precious, cozy, portable keepsakes” with history and personality.
