Supernature Opens a New Location in Printemps Du Goût 

With Paris finally embracing the vegan and vegetarian trend, now couldn’t be a better time for Supernature to branch out with a new restaurant in Printemps Du Goût. (Last year the famous Printemps department store unveiled a gourmet food hall– situated on the 7th and 8th floors of the men’s store– that you won’t want to miss.) Open now on the 8th floor of the department store, the menu will be exclusive to Printemps, meaning regulars to Supernature’s rue de Trevise location now have another option to try the restaurant’s delicious take on vegetarian gastronomy. Like many of the new veggie-friendly spots popping up around Paris, Supernature is helping to turn the idea of vegetarian food on its head; the menu might be fresh and healthy, but there is no compromise on the taste. All produce is organic, comes from specialized farms, and is served up according to the season, meaning a high quality and constantly changing menu. The use of spices rather than salt means that every dish is packed with punchy flavor, while the addition of creamy cheeses lifts a simple plate of vegetables to something a little more indulgent. And don’t even think about skipping dessert, here vegetarian doesn’t mean a fruit plate, but rather chocolate fondue with banana and coconut, and a Snickers-style mousse with peanuts and salted butter caramel. If you just can’t decide what to order, then the discovery menu allows you the option of choosing from a selection of smaller plates to share. Portions are surprisingly big, and even though meat may be missing, you definitely won’t go hungry. For those who like to pick up the fresh fruit and vegetables from Supernature’s original location you can still do so here (and of course so much more, Printemps offers up a real feast of French food), with the restaurant located right next to the fresh produce section. Even better, it’s also right next to Printemps’ famous terrace, meaning you can enjoy some of Paris’ best vegetarian fare with a view to match.
