Métro: Opéra
Although I have traveled around the world and taken lots of public transportation along the way, I still find myself in awe when I climb up the stairs and emerge into the daylight at Métro: Opéra in Paris.
When I am greeted with a bright sunny day during winter, it is all the more breathtaking.
If I can translate my words into a single image for this emotion, it is this image. Our eyes are led from from the bottom right of the frame diagonally into the middle of the frame, where we arrive with the sky above and the Opéra below.
Technical Details: iPhone 4, Hipstamatic app, John S lens, Ina’s 1969 film, no post production.
