Christmas in Paris 2017: A Photo Tour of the City’s Magnificent Decorations
Paris is always a good idea, but there is something special about the City of Light during the holiday season. From the giant, 50-ft Christmas tree in front of Notre-Dame cathedral to the decorations inside the famous grands magasins (check out the colorful centerpiece at Galeries Lafayette!), Paris puts on a dazzling show. Not to mention the illuminations on the Champs-Élysées (a million points of light on the 1.4 mile avenue!). Here we present a photographic tour of Paris at her festive best, as captured by photographer Krystal Kenney.

What a wonderful surprise scrolling through your pictures only to see our favorite restaurant on the Island - where we will be on January 1 for a week. Paris is beautiful every day any day but there is something magical during the Christmas season. The last time we sat on those chairs it was the middle of October on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It seemed the whole world walking across bridges and spilling out of the cafes and homes onto the sidewalks to enjoy the last days of a beautiful autumn while watching the leaves falling across the city of light. And now we will enjoy the beauty of winter - and all of the wonderful art exhibits going on right now!!
