She grew up in Houston and graduated from UCLA with a degree in French, leading to a successful career in corporate communications that brought her to Paris, and the writing life. Whitney’s first work of fiction Will There Be Wine?, released in January 2023, is deeply inspired by her own experiences as an ex-pat divorcée living in Paris, trying to navigate the cultural minefield of dating in a foreign country.
