5 Cozy Paris Hotels Where You Can Warm Up This Autumn

Paris is beautiful in all seasons, but a trip during the colder months can be particularly enchanting – crisp walks in the Tuileries, a vin chaud on a terrace, watching the rain fall over those famous rooftops, and warm and cozy nights in one of our favorite boutique hotels.

Hotel du Petit Moulin

With just 17 unique rooms, featuring jewel-like color palettes, sumptuous fabrics, and huge bath tubs, the Christian Lacroix-designed Hotel du Petit Moulin is one of Paris’ best boutique hotels for snuggling up in during the colder months. The hotel has also recently opened its Concept Bar for a weekend cocktail, so in the cold you also don’t need to venture far for a warming drink.

Maison Souquet

Dark corners, rich woodwork, soft velvets, Maison Souquet makes for a particularly romantic place to cozy up together during a stay in Paris. Even the hotel describes each of its rooms as “a cocoon,” using some of the finest textiles and silks available in deep burgundies, blues, and purples to create a sumptuous sanctuary. As well as a private spa downstairs the hotel also features a lounge, winter garden, and reading room, complete with a hidden bar, warming fireplace, and board games. Where better to find shelter on a cold afternoon?

Hotel Providence

Leather armchairs, an open fire, home-cooked food, and some of the most fabulous wallpaper you’ve ever seen, the Hotel Providence is a snuggly home from home. Each room is individually decorated with unique design details and vintage furniture, and in rich colors: deep greens and blues, and reds and golds. And if this still doesn’t entice you indoors, maybe the your very own private in-room cocktail bar will.

Le Roch Hotel and Spa

With “spa” in its name, Le Roch already sounds like some where you want to be when the temperature drops. Featuring a beautiful candlelit swimming pool and a hot hamman, Le Roch makes the ideal place for some warming winter self-care. Once you’ve dried off head to the hotel’s homely lounge area to cosy up on the sofa in front of the roaring fire, perhaps with a good book from the hotel’s many bookcases.

Relais Christine

One of Paris’ most hidden hotels, the Relais Christine has been gradually refurbished over the last two years and is now looking more inviting than ever. The hotel’s salon has a particularly cozy feel, and with its opulent velvets and jacquards, it makes the perfect place to relax with a book or newspaper on one of its plush sofas. There is an honesty bar on hand for a warming drink on a cold evening, and even three fireplaces for winter.
