Terrass” Hotel

Beginning in the Belle Époque, the neighborhood of Montmartre established itself as the creative hub for artists who considered Paris their home. These personalities included Salvador Dalí, Claude Monet, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh. Opening in 1911, Terrass’’ Hotel became a meeting place for the creative community. After several decades and a major restoration, the hotel opened its doors once again (June 2015), allowing present-day artists and history buffs to take residence.

Entering this contemporary 4-star hotel, set within the cobblestoned charm of Montmartre, you’ll noticed how modern details mingle with hints of the past. Many of the 85 rooms and 7 suites provide views of Paris from private balconies, but it is from the 7th floor bar and restaurant that your breath is taken away. Simply put, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to enjoy 180-degree panoramic vistas over Paris. From here you can enjoy one of the 16 signature cocktails while taking a seat on the roof deck overlooking the Sacré-Coeur Basilica. In the restaurant, you can sample chef Eric Lurthy’s cuisine while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle on the hour.
