Alternating bi-annually with the Biennale des Antiquaires, the SALON DU COLLECTIONNEUR is a playground for those with the cash to spend on Venetian scapes by Guardi or landscapes by Brueghel Le Jeune. For those with more realistic funds, you can always come just to take it in – no penalty for wandering as long as you look like you know what you’re doing! This second edition of the Salon brings together the works of more than 120 galleries from around the world, American, European and Asian alike, in the Carrousel du Louvre. Organized by the National Syndicate of Antiquaires, the Salon is divided into six categories: ceramics/arts du feu, archeology/primitive arts, Asian art, jewelry/silver/orfèvrerie, paintings/drawings/sculptures and furniture/objets d’art. Of note as well is the series of interesting (and free) lectures which will take place in conjunction with the Salon. More information available on site.

Every day from 11 am to 8 pm, night hours Wednesday the 21st until 10.
