Dear Sally:Thanks to the Internet, there are travel deals to be had that didn’t exist terribly long ago. Please check with Auto Europe. Make sure to book within the allowed time periods. For a hotel room, please access HOTEL NET and book a last minute room that fits your budget and preferences.  There are many hotel rooms currently available in Paris at the lowest prices to be seen in years!Do buy a museum pass and bundle your museum going into one or two days. You will have had your fill by then. Do wear COMFORTABLE SHOES for all of the walking you’ll be doing.Take the RER from the airport into Paris (pack light) and buy a week’s metro/bus pass (valid from Monday to Monday) unless you are those who like to walk the city.  If I want to travel the entire city for a day or two, I buy a day pass that allows me to jump on and off the metro and/or bus to my heart’s content.Paris has some of the world’s most luxurious restaurants, but you can still eat well for GREAT prices. Try Polidor and Le Petit Vatel on the Left Bank or Au Virage Lepic and Chartier on the Right for meals under 20€. And for under 70€ a night, these hotels can’t be beaten: Hôtel de Nesle, Tiquetonne Hôtel and Grand Hôtel Jeanne d’Arc. Visit our Inexpensive Paris section  for more, and let us know if you find any great deals!
