Event Description

The exhibition explores the often controversial way in which the ‘king of pop art’ engaged with space and time as a means of reshaping our modes of perception.

Shadows is a striking group of 102 silkscreened canvases of 17 different colours whose length totals more than 130 metres. Asked if these pictures were art, Warhol said no: “There was disco music playing at the exhibition party, so I guess that makes them disco decor.”
