Cattle judging, a pig pageant and mini Crufts… the Paris International Agricultural Show celebrates (and pampers) every beast in the animal kingdom. And it’s quite the political rally too. You won’t be able to move for all the party leaders and MPs (not to mention the President) patting cows, wrangling hens and chasing farmers’ votes. This year’s theme is “Women, Men, Talents”.

Alongside the presentation of these farm animals, it is a real feature for local products, regional and international gastronomy. Anyone who is a foodie, or is even just a fan of good produce, this is worth a visit.
