The Little Prince at La Seine Musical

Event Description

We owe the amazing story of the Little Prince to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, aviator and writer. This tale invites you to marvel at the melancholy poetry of existence and awakens the part of childhood that lies dormant in us. 

Inspired by his adaptation into a comic strip by Joann Sfar, Marc-Olivier Dupin composed a piece for small instrumental staff that accompanies the characters and the projections of the comic strips. 

The facetious clarinet is linked to the Little Prince, the sheep claudantly to the sound of the bassoon and the delicate rose is associated with the high tones of the flute and the violin.
