Event Description

The exhibition is dedicated to Korean contemporary artists who have worked or are currently working in France. Attracted by the status of Paris as a cultural hub, since the 1950s these artists have mingled in the French art scene, and have participated actively in the renewal of Korean painting as well as its promotion in Europe.

Marking the Year of Korea in France, the exhibition showcases 60 works from the Musée Cernuschi’s own collection and from loans by the contemporary art museum of Korea, the Lee Ungno museum in Daejeon, and from private collections.
