Power Plays

Event Description

Emblematic portraits, equestrian statues and coronation regalia are among the exhibits on show in Power Plays at the Louvre’s Petite Galerie. On loan from the Musée du Louvre, Musée National du Château de Pau, Château de Versailles and Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, the 40 works explore the representation of political power and the use of art as a propaganda tool, from Antiquity to the modern day.  Until July 2 petitegalerie.louvre.fr
