Event Description

The exhibit provides an opportunity to visit a slightly more complex aspect of Picasso’s art, rarely studied in this type of event: the question of multiples in sculpture, and the interrogation that arises when series and variations, recasts and enlargements.

There is a dialogue between the sculptures conserved at the MoMA New York, a principal partner of this exhibition, and those at the Musée Picasso. This exhibit will allow a fresh look at the sculptures in the permanent collection, when placed systematically alongside their ‘double’ or ‘variation’.
