Event Description

On Sunday September 22, the fifth edition of the Car Free Day will take place in the capital. The first Sunday of the month is also when the museums in Paris are free to the public.

This means that pedestrians can enjoy the beautiful Avenue des Champs-Elysées without the disturbance of traffic and congestion. Cars will be redirected from the 2 kilometre street in a bid to cut down pollution in Paris.

Make it an outing with family or friends: put on your roller skates, hop on your bicycle or get on your walking shoes, and set off to take in the sights of Paris. You’ll find the capital has never been this quiet!
