Your favorite summertime event is back in Paris! The annual arrival of Paris Plages attracts Parisians and tourists alike for a seaside feel in the heart of the French capital. Live music, mobile libraries, sports events, and more will provide visitors with a great beach-resort experience. Usually there are twin venues. The riverside quays of the Rives de Seine park morph into a “beach”, complete with misters and lounge chairs. A second location of Paris Plages is set up around the Bassin de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, where open-air swimming pools are set up in the canal.
