Paris Choral Society: Richard Bruchard & Stabat Mater

This month the Paris Choral Society will perform the world premier of a deeply moving new work by the American composer Richard Burchard: Stabat Mater. Scored for mixed chorus and orchestra, the work is dedicated to the Paris Choral Society and the composer will be present at our two performances.

Also on the program will be Requiem by the well-known British composer John Rutter.
It will be a unique opportunity to hear live performances of the work of two major contemporary composers. The concerts will be on Friday, March 29 at 8:00 pm and Saturday, March 30 at 6:30 pm, both at the American Cathedral in Paris.
