Paris+ by Art Basel at the Grand Palais Éphémère

Event Description

In a tectonic shift of the cultural landscape, Paris+ by Art Basel is the newest fair for modern and contemporary art, taking the place of the former FIAC. The event promises to “build bridges with France’s cultural industries – from fashion and design to film and music – to create a flagship event radiating throughout the city and embedded in Paris and its cultural scene”. The first edition brings together 156 galleries from 30 countries and will extend beyond the main venue at the Grand Palais Éphémère through a programme of collaborations with Paris’s cultural institutions and public spaces in such emblematic settings as the Jardin des Tuileries, Place Vendôme, Musée National Eugène Delacroix, and Chapelle des Petits-Augustins des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
