A not-to-miss exhibit devoted to the Orientalism art movement at this gem of a museum in the 16th arrondissement. Taking place from March 7 to July 21, 2019, “L’Orient des peintres, du rêve à la lumière” will highlight 50 masterpieces from leading public and private collections in Europe and the United States (the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée des Augustins in Toulouse, the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus, Munich, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection in Madrid, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown).
