The Petit Palais continues its series of explorations on Nordic artists, this time focusing on Albert Edelfelt, a pioneer of Finnish painting, in collaboration with the Helsinki Ateneum. The acclaimed artist first settled in Paris to make a name for himself, and during much of his career continued to travel to his native Finland every summer, expressing his love of his country’s people an landscapes through his sensitive compositions.
