Event Description
New York City Ballet first performed at the the Theatre du Chatelet in 2008, they are back for 2016 with three weeks of performances. The talented dancers will perform over 20 ballets, with 14 works created by the company founder George Balanchine.
The season will include Apollo and Symphony in C, which were created in Paris. Jerome Robbins’ West Side Story Suite, two works by Peter Martins for New York City Ballet, and three works by an exciting new generation of choreographers including Justin Peck, NYCB’s current Resident Choreographer, Alexei Ratmansky, and Christopher Wheeldon.
