Event Description
Tune in on Sept 27, at 16h in France (10 AM in the USA / performance *link, active 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled event) to hear a free virtual performance of a special video concert premiere, hosted by Mistral Chamber Music.
On the program: the magnificent Horn Trio of Brahms, Beethoven Serenade for flute, violin, and viola, and Lyric for Strings by George Walker, the first Black American composer to win the Pulitzer Prize for music. Featured artists: pianist Sophie Scolnik-Brower and two prominent members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Associate Concertmaster, Juliette Kang (who was going to come Eygalieres for our concert this summer!), and Associate Principal Horn, Jeffrey Lang, plus two other members of my ensemble, violist Stephanie Fong and cellist Alexandre Lecarme.

*If you cannot watch it at that time, this link will still be available after this for a limited period. There is no charge for this performance, but donations (link here) are gratefully accepted and gently encouraged to help Mistral Chamber Music cover expenses of artist fees, hall rentals, and recording engineers.
