Le Bal du Siècle: The Roaring Twenties at Versailles

Event Description

What could be more fun than a costume ball in the famous Galerie des Glaces at the Chateau de Versailles? Inspired by the famous “Fête Merveilleuse” held in 1923 under the artistic direction of Gabriel Astruc with the Ballets Russes, this costume ball takes guests back to the Roaring Twenties. The evening will kick off with a procession through the Grand Apartments, while dancers from the Royal Opera Ballet perform to tunes by the Royal Opera Orchestra. The Gallery of Battles will be transformed into a giant dance floor (think Charleston, Waltz, and Foxtrot). There will be a fireworks display over the gardens, followed by an after party.
