Event Description

Les Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) brings an opportunity to visit a wide variety of well-known historical monuments, some well known, some unusual and some that are not open to the public at any other time.

This 2015 edition of Heritage Days turns to the heritage of the XXI Century with the theme “a history of the future”. This theme aims to present the process by which a heritage site becomes designated as such, forming a thread through which relatively recent creations will become the heritage of future generations.

One example is the exceptional opening of the Maison de la Radio, a 1963 building by architect Henry Bernard, following the recent renovation of its circular architecture of glass and aluminum. During Heritage Days there’ll be commented visits redrawing on the 50 years of history of the Maison de la radio and the concerts in the auditorium.
