As part of the Foundation’s marvelous “Icons of Modern Art” exhibits, devoted to major collectors such as Sergei Shchukin, this exceptional show shines the spotlight on Gustave Fayet, collector, artist and forgotten pioneer. Works by Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Redon will be shown alongside Fayet’s own paintings, ceramics, and textiles.
