François Morellet – witticisms

Event Description

Explore the work of French contemporary artist François Morellet at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in Paris. Celebrating the centenary of his birth, François Morellet, Witticisms brings together around 40 works, including three monumental installations, to explore the playful relationship between geometric abstraction, architecture and public space. Discover how Morellet used light, lines and unexpected perspectives to transform buildings and urban environments, challenging architectural conventions with precision and humor. Presented in partnership with the Centre Pompidou and the CNAP, this exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the artist’s lasting influence on contemporary art.
