Event Description
Fete de la Nature – The Nature Festival is France’s largest nature festival, it is also celebrated in Switzerland, Portugal, the Netherlands. Spanning over 5 days, schools, local authorities, companies and individuals with a passion for nature present a huge range of conservation and nature education events from foraging for medicinal plants, to tours of botanical gardens, educational workshops and camping.
The Nature Festival was created in 2007 on the initiative of the French Union of the International Committee for Conservation of Nature and Wild Earth magazine with for the purpose of celebrating nature every year. The event coincides with International Biodiversity Day, which takes place on the 22nd, the festival promises to provide, educational, outdoors fun for all the family.
