A not-to-miss event this holiday season. The Jardin des Plantes in the 5th arrondissement has launched its first ever festival of lights. Starting at 6 pm, a nocturnal promenade will take in monumental sculptures, glittering with lights, depicting species that vanished from the earth 65 million years ago, and others that are threatened today. The walk continues into la Ménagerie, the garden’s charming little zoo, transformed with gigantic luminous animals. This popular show will take place through January 15, 2019.
