David Hockney, one of the most influential artists of our time, takes over the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris in grand-scale exhibition. Hockney has been personally involved in every aspect the expo, an exceptional showcase which occupies the entire building, focusing on the past 25 years of his work while also including iconic pieces such as A Bigger Splash and Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures). Etched in pink neon outside the museum is the saying that Hockney sent to his friends during the pandemic: “Do remember they can’t cancel the spring.”
