Chinese New Year 2022 in the 13th Arrondissement

Event Description

This year, the Chinese New Year takes place on February 1 and is symbolized by the water tiger, the third sign of the Chinese zodiac. Traditionally there is a fantastic parade in the 13th arrondissement, home to the city’s largest Chinese community. However, the parade has been canceled this year due to the pandemic. Instead, the 13th arrondissement is hosting a number of exhibitions, film screenings with discussion, even the traditional basketball game on February 13th at the Halle George-Carpentier.
