Event Description
The Champs-Elysees film festival returns for its fifth anniversary bringing the best in French and American cinema to its audiences. A jury of 5 members under the presidency of Nicole Garcia will be responsible for awarding the Jury Prize for Best American Independent Film.
Events will include a Chicago karaoke night, a Science fiction themed night, film screenings, Trivia and quiz nights, Q&A sessions, film masterclasses and French and American film competitions. A host of special guests include:
– Director Mia Hansen-Love, French Guest of Honor
– Writer-director Abel Ferrara, American Guest of Honor
– Actor-director Brady Corbet, American Independant Guest,
– Director Andrew Davids, Guest of Honor of the Chicago section
