    By Barbara Becquiot

My first experience with French taxis dates all the way back to 1965 and I’m not about to forget that first cab ride in France! • Preparations for Paris

    By Naomi Mikhaiel

"A year!" repeats the astonished bank teller.

    By Karen Fawcett

Karen FawcettThere are days, weeks, months and years when living in Paris makes me come to a crashing halt and reevaluate so many things I’ve come to accept as status quo.  Perhaps that’s one of the reasons I remain here because boredom is equivalent to my being dead, and I’m not ready, merci, quand même. By Karen Fawcett

Karen FawcettSince I moved to Paris more than a few years ago, Thanksgiving, more than any of the other holidays, draws Americans together in a unified pursuit of cooking and eating turkey. • Olé to the Course Landaise

    By Sue Aran

The Course Landaise is an ancient style of Iberian bullfighting that does not involve the death of the animal.
