Diane Stamm profile

Diane Stamm has loved France and the French language ever since opening her French textbook in sophomore year in high school. (Thank you, Miss Potter!) And she loves the French people. Maybe it’s in her blood; her paternal family was from Paris via Alsace Lorraine.

Diane has spent most of her professional life in Washington, D.C. where she worked for the U.S. Congress, helped run a democracy-building organization, had a radio show interviewing foreign ambassadors serving in Washington, and is an editor for international development organizations. She is also an inveterate photographer of all things great and small.

Diane finds the planet and its varied peoples and cultures endlessly fascinating; she has lived in the Philippines and has traveled to over 40 developed and developing countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. But Paris is her first love. She’s a total francophile and it’s where she feels most at home.

She can be reached at dianestamm@verizon.net.
